See What SongKong Can Fix

1. Start with your existing music

In this example we selected a small group of four albums containing incomplete and inconsistent metadata.

Some information is already correct, while other fields are missing, incomplete or could be improved. This is typical of a real music collection built up from different sources over many years.

Select the folder containing the music you want to analyse, choose Fix Songs and leave Preview only enabled. SongKong will identify the music and work out the metadata, artwork and other changes it would make, but nothing is written to your files. For most users the Default profile is a good starting point, so you can simply select Start to begin.

2. Report opens with a summary of what SongKong would change

When Fix Songs finishes, SongKong creates a detailed report showing what it found. The summary gives an immediate overview of how many songs were identified and matched, together with the improvements SongKong can make to your collection. Because this was run in Preview mode, these results have not yet been written to your music files.

3. We can inspect the metadata in detail

We can browse by Album, Artist and Album or Folder, here we are browsing by Album

We can select an album or folder to see the songs within it

Then we can drill down to an individual song to see the metadata SongKong has added or changed.
