Create an ITunes script for “export songs to Jaikoz” from the itunes script menu? I find myself right clicking songs show in finder, then dragging the songs to jaikoz. Although this isn't a horrible thing to do, but to lessen the work flow and integrate the 2 would be great. |

What I would really like is the ability to right click on a music folder in my desktop, select the "clean up music with Jaikoz" option and have it automatically run all of the above steps, sorting into 2 folders: a "check further" folder, and my permanent itunes music folder (which would be set in preferences in jaikoz and could be compatible with all music players as you just set the "final" music location). This should handle a folder with 1000+ albums in it in any kind of directory hierarchy of unknown tagging quality. |

Simply fix process, have message- I want to automatically filter thousands of music files into a smaller collection of clean, tagged music only, putting the untaggable music into a folder on my desktop OR- I want to work directly on my music (ADVANCED). |

Add option to just 'Open Songs in Library' or 'Open Songs in Database' to quickly load all songs in cache (without checking they still exist ?) |

I miss a feature that allows me to call a script on each file. I'd use it per file and/or per album, for example to calculate replaygain data. |

Problem with MOOD field can be seen in Jaikoz but not Windows Media Player or Windows Explorer. Unfortunately Windows Explorer/Media Player store mood in a private frame called WM/Mood and ignore the standard TMOO frame that Jaikoz uses. You can confirm this by adding a mood to the file in Windows Explorer by selecting properties for the file, tabbing to details and then editing the mood field. Then open the file in Jaikoz select the ID3 Edit tab and look at the Not Supported field it will now contain a PRIV field with Owner of WM/Mood. This is a common problem with players using their own fields or internal databases rather then the standard field. I wouldn't really want to write mood to the/read from the Windows Media Player field because it is non -standard. If you really want this then it could be done with a mp3 tagging script/command line program and then may be one that already exists, but I don't know. I might do it myself but I'm really too busy to do it now. |
